The Quilter's Learning Series with Accuquilt Go!


If you have ever shied away from certain quilt patterns because the piecing looks difficult or it requires cutting with templates, this class series is for you.  Through these classes, you will learn different quilting techniques while creating projects that use the Accuquilt Go! dies. In each class, you will learn how the Go! is used as a great aid and time saver to quilters, how to quickly cut repetitive shapes, and how the Go! dies make precise piecing a snap.

Use of the Go! and dies will be available in the classes so no prior purchase is necessary.

In this installment of the Quilter's Learning Series (QLS), learn how to sew curved pieces. There are 2 patterns to choose from, Rob Peter to Pay Paul (orange and gray above) and the Applecore (scrappy above). Both patterns are very traditional blocks that are commonly hand pieced. Learn to modernize these timeless designs by machine piecing.

What:  QLS - Forget the Template and Do Free Motion Quilting

In this installment of the Quilter's Learning Series (QLS), learn how to make this sophisticated, but playful table runner. This Dresden Spiral pattern uses an Accuquilt Go! die to reduce cutting time by nearly 80% over cutting with templates!!  (Use of an Accuquilt Go! and dies will be provided in the class.)  This class will also teach you a fast and modern way of piecing the Dresden which doesn't involve the beautiful but time-consuming needle turn applique.






So, what can you do with all that free time you have by using the Go! dies and this quick piecing method?  Learn and/or practice your free motion quilting, of course. This class will also teach the basics of free motion quilting on your home machine - no long arm needed.  Use what you learn in this class to achieve this stunning trapunto look on your own Dresden Spiral table runner.
